The Korea JoongAng Daily is a leading English newspaper of Korea, first published in October 17th, 2000. With its motto, ‘Your window to Korea,” it strives to correctly inform the world of the politics, economy, social affairs, and culture of the Republic of Korea. Journalists specialized in English of global competitiveness are on the scene to report, and the system with a Korean publisher and a foreign chief editor helps us keep a balance in.

It is the most preferred newspaper among foreigners residing in Korea, and is the most cited newspaper by influential international press including the New York Times, BBC, CNN, Le Monde, and the Guardian. It was the only Korean news media to be chosen as the official English newspaper of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Paralympics, in which athletes from 92 nations, the most ever, participated. The Korea JoongAng Daily contributed in introducing and promoting the Republic of Korea to the whole world by producing the official Olympic athletes’ village newspaper during the Olympics and the Paralympics.
